Terms of Service

Effective: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By using CipherSwap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and not reside in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency swaps are prohibited. You are responsible for complying with local laws.

3. Nature of Service

CipherSwap is a non‑custodial automated exchange. We never hold your Bitcoin or Monero. The service facilitates a peer‑to‑contract swap where the operator manually confirms Bitcoin deposits and releases Monero.

4. Refunds & Disputes

All swaps are final once Monero is released. In case of underpayment, overpayment, or wrong coin sent, we will attempt to refund the original Bitcoin address (minus network fees) at our discretion. Refunds may take up to 48 hours.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use CipherSwap for any illegal activity including but not limited to money laundering, sanctions evasion, or financing of terrorism. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

6. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOSSES DUE TO USER ERROR, NETWORK CONGESTION, OR FORCE MAJEURE.
