Swaps below this amount are not economical due to Bitcoin network fees.
Maximum Swap
1000.0 BTC
Higher limits available on request
For swaps larger than 1000 BTC, please contact us in advance to ensure liquidity.
Why Limits Exist
CipherSwap is a privacy service with finite liquidity. Limits help us:
- Maintain Availability: Prevent a single large swap from draining the Monero reserve.
- Reduce Risk: Large transactions require additional processing steps.
- Stay Compliant: While we don't perform KYC, we do implement transaction monitoring to prevent illicit activity.
Requesting a Higher Limit
If you need to swap more than 1000 BTC, you can request a temporary limit increase. Send an email to limits@cipherswap.com with:
- The desired BTC amount
- Your intended XMR address (optional)
- Any relevant context (e.g., OTC trade, business use)
Please allow up to 24 hours for a response. For urgent large swaps, reach out via Telegram.
Dynamic Limits
Limits may be adjusted automatically based on real‑time liquidity and network conditions. The current limits are always displayed on the swap page before you enter an amount.
